The TL-SG105PE is an 5-port Gigabit Easy Smart Switch with 4 PoE+ ports, represents a powerful upgrade from an unmanaged switch. It is designed specially for small businesses that require simple network management and PoE function. The TL-SG105PE can connect and power up to four PoE devices, such as wireless access points (APs), IP cameras, and IP phones. Through its web-based user interface and management utility, the TL-SG105PE offers a variety of useful features, including network monitoring, traffic prioritization, PoE Auto Recovery and enhanced QoS. Additionally, with port-based, tag-based and MTU VLAN, TL-SG105PE can improve security and meet more network segmentation requirements.
Power Over Ethernet
4 of the 5 Auto-Negotiation RJ45 ports (port 1 to port 4) of the switch support Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. These PoE ports can automatically detect and supply power with those IEEE 802.3af/at compliant Powered Devices (PDs).
Overload Arrangement
TL-SG105PE has the priority function which will help protect the system when the system power is overloaded. If all PoE PDs power consumption is >= 65 W, a priority will be arranged among the PoE ports, then the system will cut off the power of the lowest-priority port.
Intelligent Power Management
Priority (port 1>port 2>port 3>port 4): This function will help protect the system if the system power becomes overloaded. For example, Port 1, 2 and 4 are consuming 15.4 W respectively. If an additional PoE device with 20 W is inserted to port 3, the system will cut off the power of port 4 to compensate for the overload.
Effective Management
TL-SG105PE offers network monitoring for users to observe traffic behavior. Through its web-based user interface and management utility, the TL-SG105PE offers a variety of useful features, including network monitoring, traffic prioritization, PoE Auto Recovery and enhanced QoS.
With Port Mirroring, Loop Prevention and Cable Diagnostics features, TL-SG105PE can identify and even locate connection problems on your business network. Also, administrators can designate the priority of the traffic based on Port Priority, 802.1P Priority and DSCP Priority, to ensure that voice and video are always clear, smooth and lag-free.
Additionally, to improve security and network performance, TL-SG105PE supports MTU VLAN, port-based VLAN and 802.1Q-based VLAN functions. PoE Auto Recovery automatically reboots your dropped or unresponsive PoE-powered devices.
TL-SG105PE is an upgrade from the plug-and-play Unmanaged Switch, delivering great value while empowering your network and similarly delivering great value to the end user.
Easy to Use
TL-SG105PE is easy to use and manage. Auto MDI/MDI-X crossover on all ports eliminate the need for crossover cables or uplink ports. Auto-negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device (either 10, 100, or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance. Its compact size makes it ideal for desktops with limited space. Dynamic LED lights provide real-time work status display and basic fault diagnosis.

It’s innovatively designed to run cool and quiet without sacrificing performance. |
The first of the Green Ethernet products the DGS-1016D provides 3 key benefits to end users through its cutting edge innovative eco-friendly technology
Reduces power consumption & creates less heat Extended product life Reduces Operating Costs Power Savings by Number of Connected Ports and Link Status Computers do not require Internet access all the time; neither do switches utilize all ports at all times. When a computer or network equipment is shutdown, switches often remain on and continue to consume considerable amount of power. With Green Ethernet technology, D-Link switches can automatically detect link status and reduce power usage of ports that are idle. Computers or any connecting parties set to standby mode (not power off), however, will not provide significant power savings. Power Savings by Cable Length The Green Ethernet switches have the ability to analyze the length of any Ethernet cable connected to them for adjustment of power usage accordingly. Shorter lengths require less power. Overall Power Savings Per Day For a traditional switch, power consumption remains constant even when the ports are not in use. In a standard workday scenario where PCs are used for 10 hours a day and powered off 14 hours a day, and connected to the switch using 20 meter cables, D-Link's Green Ethernet can save up to 20% power used for each system. Get the blazing speed of Gigabit Ethernet with the D-Link GigaExpress DGS-1016D, an 16-port 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Switch that delivers power, performance, and reliability in one cost-effective, space-saving design. Increase the speed of your network server and backbone connections, or make Gigabit to the desktop a reality. 8-Port Desktop Switch with 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports
The DES-1008P 8-Port switch can convey power to up to four network devices via the usual network cables using Power over Ethernet technology. This provides a cost-effective entry-level solution for users wishing to make the most of their network. The DES-1008P enables users to easily connect and supply power to devices such as wireless Access Points (AP), IP cameras and IP phones via the common network cables. As a switch, the DES-1008P can be used to share files, music and video across your network or create a multi-player gaming environment. Users can also add multiple computers, printers, Network Attached Storage (NAS) and any other Ethernet device onto a network. This device runs ultra-quiet, making it ideal for both home and small office use. In addition, it can be wall-mounted to save desktop space. IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) Four out of the eight ports on the DES-1008P support the IEEE 802.3af standard for Power over Ethernet (PoE). Each of these ports can supply up to 15.4W, up to a total PoE budget of 56W, allowing users to attach IEEE 802.3af-compliant devices without requiring an additional power source. Networking devices receiving power in this way do not need to be placed within close proximity of a power outlet, allowing greater flexibility for their placement. Compliance with IEEE 802.3af also means that when a compliant device is attached, the switch automatically adjusts the power supplied to that device. For non-compliant devices, a PoE adapter such as D-Link’s DWL-P50 can be used to still allow the switch to be the power source. Superior performance The switch is completely unmanaged, so no configuration is required and installation is quick and easy. Support for auto-MDI/MDI-X on all ports eliminates the need for crossover cables for connection to another switch or hub. Auto-negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device (either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance. The DES-1008P also features diagnostic LEDs that display status and activity, allowing you to quickly detect and correct problems on the network. With wire-speed filtering and store-and-forward switching, the DES-1008P also maximizes network performance while minimising the transmission of bad network packets. Combining the convenience of PoE, superior performance, and ease of use, the D-Link DES-1008P is the ideal choice for adding PoE devices to either a home or a small business network. Hassle-free set-up The DES-1008P is a plug-and-play device requiring no configuration, which makes set-up simple and hassle-free. |
