With AXIS T8129, Axis’ network video products can be installed at greater distances than 100 m (328 ft) from one another. By connecting an AXIS T8129 for every extra 100 m (328 ft) of cable, both Ethernet and PoE can be extended to even greater distances; depending on camera model and power source. AXIS T8129 does not require any additional power supply and the connected network camera is fed by a single PoE switch or midspan, simplifying installation. It offers two Ethernet ports, both configured automatically for link speed, duplex and crossover and the full-rate network throughput is maintained.

TRENDnet’s TI-IG30 is a reliable IP30 rated Industrial Gigabit PoE+ Injector with hardened components rated for extreme industrial environments. Connect the TI-IG30 to a non-PoE Gigabit switch and then run an Ethernet cable up to 100 meters (328 ft.) to network a PoE, PoE+, or high power PoE+ device. Dual redundant power inputs (power supply sold separately: TI-S12048) with overload current protection support zero downtime applications. Both DIN-rail and wall mount hardware is included.

The Cisco AIR-PWRINJ6= Power over Ethernet (PoE) Injector increases wireless LAN deployment flexibility of supported Cisco Aironet access points. This PoE injector provides an alternative powering option to local power, inline power-capable multiport switches and multiport power patch panels. It uses wires in an Ethernet cable to supply inline power to an access point.

The Intellinet Network Solutions Outdoor Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Extender Repeater (561211) is designed to extend connection distances from a PoE source to an output device up to 100 m (328 ft.) via Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Cover even longer distances by cascading up to five extenders. The PoE+ Extender Repeater does not need an additional power supply, as it draws the power it needs from the PoE input.

Simple Installation

Simply connect the "PoE In" port with your PoE injector or PoE switch and connect the "PoE Out" with the PoE device that you wish to connect (e.g., a VoIP phone or a PoE network camera). That's it. There is nothing to configure. It simply could not be any easier.

Reduced Wiring Costs

No need to run AC power lines for your wireless access point, network camera or IP phone. Simply connect the PoE Extender to the LAN switch port and use the existing Cat5 cabling to deliver DC power as well as transfer data.

Power over Ethernet 802.3at Compliant

The Intellinet Network Solutions Outdoor Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Extender Repeater supports the IEEE 802.3at protocol. It is designed to forward data at Gigabit speeds and provide up to 25 watts of input power to a connected IEEE 802.3af- or IEEE 802.3at-compliant device. The cable length on both ends can be up to 100 meters (328 ft.), bringing the total distance to 200 m (656 ft.).

Cascading Power

Daisy-chaining multiple PoE extenders increase the transmission distance even farther. Be advised that each added PoE extender draws up to 4 W of usable PD power, and additional power losses will occur as the cable length increases.

AXIS 30 W Midspan AC/DC is for installations where mains power is not an option. With a power input of either 10-28 V DC or 24 V AC, it can deliver up to IEEE 802.3at (30 W) to your network device. 24 V AC can be needed in harsh environments where new cabling or installations are not possible and you need to retrofit box, dome or PTZ cameras. 10-28 V DC can be used where battery back-up is needed or for solar-powered installations. Or when the network device is built in another equipment and is powered directly from it.
