This HDMI extender kit lets you transmit your 1080p HD video source to your remote HDMI display at distance of up to 165 ft. away (50 m) using shielded CAT6 cabling. The extender features a built-in 4-port USB 2.0 hub that also lets you connect four remote USB peripheral devices at your display location.

Note: To maximize performance this extender requires shielded CAT6 cable. When using unshielded CAT6 cable the maximum distance is reduced to 30m. When using CAT5 cable the maximum distance is reduced to 15m.

The VE801 HDMI HDBaseT-Lite Extender extends an HDMI signal up to 70m from the HDBaseT source using one Cat 5e/6/6a cable. It supports HDMI features that include 3D, Deep Color and 4K image resolutions, plus Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS HD audio and it is HDCP compatible. The VC882 is a True 4K HDMI Repeater with Audio Embedder and De-Embedder capable of embedding or de-embedding the HDMI audio signal, while supporting the HDMI signal transmission distance up to 5 meters with True 4K resolution. Apart from embedding a separate audio to an outgoing HDMI signal, the VC882 also allows audio extraction from the HDMI signal, and outputs the extracted signal through an alternative audio system.

In terms of the audio aspect, the VC882 works with versatile pass-through of HDMI audio formats – LPCM2.0, Dolby Digital 2.0, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Digital 5.1.
