The TP−580RXR is an extended range, HDBaseT twisted pair receiver for HDMI, bidirectional RS−232 and IR signals. The TP−580RXR receives an HDBaseT twisted pair signal from the TP−580TXR and converts it back into HDMI, RS−232 and IR signals.

The TP−580TXR is an extended range, HDBaseT twisted pair transmitter for HDMI, bidirectional RS−232 and IR signals. The TP−580TXR inputs HDMI, RS−232, and IR signals and converts them into an HDBaseT twisted pair signal that it transmits to a TP−580RXR receiver.

This HDBaseT™ extender kit can transmit your 4K HDMI signal up to 115 ft. (35 m) over a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable. At lower resolutions up to 1080p, the extender kit can transmit your signal up to 230 ft. (70 m).
