Cisco TelePresence® Microphones provide a range of audio coverage solutions for both integrated video systems and custom video deployments - either on the table or discreetly through the ceiling (Figures 1 through 3). The microphones are optimized for voice and designed for use in small to large collaboration meeting rooms with state-of-the-art audio quality.

The Cisco® microphone portfolio is made up of the Table Microphone, Ceiling Microphone, and the Microphone Array.

The Cisco Table Microphone is the latest generation microphone product for Cisco video conferencing room systems. It covers all the use cases previously served by the Table Microphone 20 and Table Microphone 60 and is ideal for omnidirectional coverage for small-to-large rooms with fixed tables. Cisco Table Microphone is available in two versions, either with a mini jack or a Euroblock plug. It is also designed to keep tables tidy and clean, as it can be recessed into the table or simply rest on a magnetic table plate.

The Ceiling Microphone is a high-quality, cost-effective directional microphone designed to cover larger meeting spaces, such as training rooms, demo rooms, and auditoriums, with discreet and easy ceiling mounting, while freeing up table space.

The Cisco Microphone Array is a premium directional microphone array designed to provide the Cisco Webex® Room Panorama immersive video collaboration system with crystal-clear, spatial audio. It can capture participant voices from different directions and deliver multiple streams of high-fidelity audio. The Microphone Array recognizes which side of the table the speaker is on. To the far-end participants, it provides a more immersive, natural experience as voices coming from the left of the table are played back remotely from the left speaker, and vice versa. It supports immersive and inclusive executive meeting and conferencing scenarios for in-person and remote participants alike—just as if they were all in the same room. Better still, the Microphone Array supports an IP-based AV setup, allowing for enhanced flexibility and lower deployment costs.

The Table Microphone Pro uses multi-directional voice capture pattern that intelligently tracks and picks up speech only where the voice is coming from and minimizes signals from other parts of the room to enable an immersive and distraction-free audio experience for far end meeting participants. Recognized in the Red Dot Awards for outstanding product design, the Table Microphone Pro is powered and controlled via Power over Ethernet connectivity and augmented by Cisco’s proprietary end-to-end encryption when connected to a video endpoint to always keep your team’s communications safe and secure. Just like Cisco video collaboration endpoints, it can be centrally managed in Control Hub alongside your entire Cisco collaboration device deployment, providing seamless cloud admin, monitoring, and device analytics for IT administrators. You can use the Cisco Table Microphone Pro as a single unit or connect multiple microphone devices with video conferencing endpoints through an external switch to solve voice pickup in the largest of workspaces. It works seamlessly with Cisco video bars, collaboration kits and integrated room devices without the need for an external Digital Signal Processor (DSP) unit. The table microphone stands out with its remarkably compact and aesthetic form factor, featuring a capacitive mute button and a tricolor LED light which shows mute status at a distance. To bring flexibility to any deployment, the Table Microphone Pro offers multiple mounting options: it can be placed on the table with the Ethernet cable remaining visible or completely hidden from view or can be recessed into the table for an even cleaner conference table setup and the best possible speech pickup quality.
